Dr. Emma Cottle

Complex ethical issues frequently arise in healthcare and often give rise to stress and conflict. Clinical Ethics Services are increasingly recognised as important by clinicians and administrators, yet there are few benchmarks or regulations in this field. So who is making these decisions? And how are they doing it? In this presentation, Dr Cottle will present the findings of a study investigating how children’s hospitals approach clinical ethics issues.
